OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli police started to tighten its security measures against the natives in occupied Jerusalem on the occasion of the Jewish celebrations.
The Jewish celebrations, including the Hebrew new year, Yom Kippur and Sukkot, will start on the morning of Sunday.
The police said it would deploy large reinforcements of its forces and border guards throughout the holy city especially during the evening and would establish new barriers and checkpoints.
Such measure would restrict the movement of the Palestinian natives of Jerusalem and expose them to police harassment as happens every year.
The Jewish settlers also intensify their attacks and provocative acts against the Palestinians in the holy city during their celebrations.
