GAZA, (PIC)– The popular resistance movement said the latest political arrests in the West Bank were an attempt by the Palestinian authority government to please the Israeli government which offered to help it in its financial crisis.
In a press release on Wednesday, the movement stated that the PA arrested dozens of ex-detainees and resistance figures in an attempt to appease Israel and to diver attention from its economic crisis after it failed to resolve it.
It called on all national resistance factions to condemn these arrests which serve no one but the Israeli occupation and his agenda.
It also appealed to Egypt, as the mediator in the national reconciliation talks, to intervene to end these arrests which would torpedo all efforts made to end the rift in the Palestinian arena.
