JENIN, (PIC)– The Israeli Salem military court, north of Jenin, has sentenced three Palestinian children to three months behind bars after charging them with throwing stones at Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources in Qalqilia’s Azun village, the hometown of the children, said Saturday that two of the three children were 16 years old and one was 15 years old.
The same court extended the remand of 14-year-old Ihsan Abed from Kufr Dan village, Jenin district, and released his brother Osama, 13, after leveling a 3000 shekels fine on him.
Both were taken from their family’s farmland near the separation wall, which is close to their village.
