NABLUS, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested within ten days since the beginning of this year (2013) more than 300 Palestinian workers inside the occupied territories in 1948.
The General Union of Palestine Workers, said in a statement on Thursday evening, that the Israeli police arrested about 320 Palestinian workers from the West Bank within the Green Line, claiming they had no work permits in their work places, where 40 workers are still detained after the extension of their arrest for security reasons, and turning them to Jalamah detention center for interrogation.
According to the Union, an Israeli force and police launched since the beginning of this year wide arrest and prosecution campaigns against Palestinian workers, during which the IOF raided their houses and work places in the cities of Hadera, Haifa, Jaffa, Nazareth, Um Fahm and Tel Rabi.
