DAMASCUS, (PIC)– Six Palestinians were killed in Syria on Tuesday including three of one family when they were targeted by Syrian regular army gunfire.
Sources in the Yarmouk refugee camp, south of the capital Damascus, said that a grenade was tossed at a group of people while trying to enter the camp killing one of them.
They said that the man, Mohammed Shamut, was instantly killed while others were wounded, adding that his son Issam and his cousin Amin tried to pull his body but bullets were fired at them also killing them on the spot.
The sources said that three young men were killed in the camp’s sports city while playing. They said that shelling on the sports stadium killed Mustafa Daraji, Mazen Shihabi, and Mohammed Addad. They said that at least 14 other young men were injured in the shelling.
