Right on the first day of 2011, the Palestinian’s (and human right) for peaceful assembly was suppressed by Israel in it’s always violent ways. No good start for a year with new hope, new courage demonstrators went to raise their voice for a free Palestine and an end to the oppression. It killed Jawaher Abu Rahma. Her brother Bassem was killed as well during a demo in 2009. Related: Shaheeda Jawaher Abu Rahma | Killed By Israeli Occupation on Jan 1, 2011 – An Overview

Palestinian mourners carry the body of 26-year-old Ahmed Maslamani Daraghme who was shot dead by Israeli troops at a checkpoint in the occupied West Bank on January 2, 2011 during his funeral procession in the village of Tubas in the northern district of the Palestinian territory, less than a day after Jawaher Abu Rahma died after being tear-gassed in the nearby village of Bilin. Ahmed Daraghme was unarmed and slained in cold blood after Israel accused him from attacking soldiers. The soldiers riddled his body with bullets killing him instantly then blocked movement on the barrier. Related article

The water quality control authority in the Gaza Strip said that more than 90% of the Strip’s potable water was contaminated, warning of a serious threat to lives of the Strip’s inhabitants. The report published on Monday said that the Palestinian citizens were increasingly using home desalination and purification systems especially with the high concentration of chlorine in the water wells. It noted that the sewage water, agricultural chemicals, and “dangerous waste” spewed by the former Israeli settlements in the Strip were contaminating the underground water reservoir. At the moment of Dec 31, 2011 the waterquality even went down to 5% fit for human consumption. A fact which is ignored by the world, as well as it’s (lethal) effects for waterborne diseases. Water and access to sanitation is a humanright of which Gaza and increasingly the west bank are deprived, deliberately by Israel. By all means possible. The Mavi Marmara returned to a hero’s welcome at Istanbul’s Sarayburnu port late last month. Docking at its port of departure for the first time since its fateful voyage began seven months ago, it is perhaps the most celebrated of humanitarian relief vessels that set sail to carry foodstuffs, medicine, school materials and other household supplies to the Gaza Strip in defiance of Israel’s siege in May 2010. On January 5, 2011 Israel extended the illegal detention of Jawad Siyam in Silwan who was arrested the day before during the children’s classes and in front of their eyes. This action by the police is coming only few days before another political activist in Silwan, Adnan Ghaith is about to be expelled from Jerusalem for 4 months following the security authorities order. Jawad Siyam is the founder of the Madaa community center in Wadi Hilweh, which is run by the people of Silwan. Siyam is also one of the leaders of the community of the Palestinian neighborhood which is suffering from constant pressure of the settlement of “the City of David“, and the Jewish Israeli takeover of East Jerusalem. Silwan, the hotspot of ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem. And a social activity center, and it’s people continously being ransacked, detained and violated. While tourism flourishes for the so called “Holy Land’s” City of David. Child abductions are order of the day. Suppression of voices and press as well. Barely any people notice what is going on behind the facades of Israel in Silwan. Silwan… no legend yet.

Israeli military officers gather next to the body of Khaldoon Sammoudi at Al-Hamra military checkpoint near Jenin , Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. The Israeli military say soldiers shot and killed Sammoudi who approached them in a hurry, accusing him of allegedly possession of weaponry and shot him than left him to bleed to death. Witnesses said the victim approached the checkpoint carrying a coca-cola can, a female soldier shouted at him and two male soldiers immediately opened fire. Medics said Maslamani’s body was riddled with bullets.

Bulldozers razed a big chunk of the Shepherd Hotel in occupied East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah early morning Sunday to make way for a new residential complex for Jews (a.k.a settlement). The Shepherd Hotel was owned by Jerusalem Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini until 1967, when Israel expropriated it under the Absentee Property Law (Read more about this law here). In 1985 the property was sold to a company owned by American Jewish billionaire Irving Moskowitz, notorious for his support of Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem and specifically of the extremist Ateret Cohanim group, responsible for most of the Jewish settlement in the Old City’s Muslim Quarter and the Beit Yonatan building in Silwan.

Israeli ambulance refuse to enter “unrecognized” Palestinian villages. While those are located inside what is called “Israel” the ambulances who are supposed to serve any human being at all, also in these village refuse to deliver aid. A severe violation of Art 55 and 56 of the 4th Geneva Convention. Deprivation of medical care or access to medical care is one of the tools Israel reinvented and refined to perform it’s ongoing ethnic cleansing, by all means possible. Even if this means depriving people of first aid to save lives. This.. is not in the plan of Israel at all. According to a recent report of Al-Mezan, 173 children died due to similar “practices” of the state of “Israel”

Fifty armed Israeli settlers attacked the village of Qassra south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus and injured six civilians. Villagers said that the settlers tried to take over lands owned by local farmers, and clashes erupted when villagers rushed to protect their lands. In several villages that day farmland was attacked. Settler violence is on a great rise since Israel does even encourage violence by supplying illegal colonists with weaponry, ammunition, training dogs and even trains them. Not only for protection for no Palestinian would survive coming only near to a settlement. In stead, these savage settlers ransack the west bank and caused an increase of 50% of their terror across the west bank in 2011. God forsaken of every sense of law, even the Divine ones. Ransacking, looting and stealing homes, demolishing properties, burning 2,5 million olive trees since 1967 and attack… the Palestinians. Often under protection of the army who does not have no habit to intervene in these crimes.

Shot in the Head: Giffords, Hurndall and Palestinian Children. There is something particularly horrifying when someone is shot in the head. Perhaps it’s the gruesome image, the destruction of the brain, the clear intent to kill. Those of us who focus on Israel-Palestine are acutely aware of this horror. In the past 10 years Israeli forces have killed at least 255 Palestinian minors by fire to the head, and the number may actually be greater, since in many instances the specific bodily location of the lethal trauma is unlisted. In addition, this statistic does not include the many more Palestinian youngsters shot in the head by Israeli soldiers who survived, in one form or another. Recently on Oct 26, 2011 a little 4 year old girl was targeted to her head, causing a shoot wound in her neck, leaving her Quadraplaegic for life. Not only with bullets. Illegal use and in violation of all laws and rules on engagement, Israel also uses riot dispersal ammunition to target directly unarmed civilians like Mustafa Tamimi. Killed with surgical precision with a shot to the head with a tear gas canister than it obstructed medical aid. He died too.

What do I want from this life? What makes you happy is not enough. All the things that satisfy our instincts only satisfy the animal in us. I want to be proud of myself. I want more. I want to look up to myself and when I die, I want to smile because of the things I have done, not cry for the things I haven’t done.” - Tom Hurndall (martyred by Israel)

Jewish radicals desecrate the Mosque in Jaffa under police protection. Desecration of mosques and attacks on Islamic as well as Christian holy sites are very commong. Tolerance is a word which is not even tolerated in the zionist agenda. Recently 4 mosques we’re attacked with arson and grafitti settlers depicting slogans like “Milchamah” announcing war (in hebrew). Israel destroys Araqeeb village for 9th time, displaces its natives. On the current date, Dec 31, Al Araqib has been destroyed 33 times since this article on Jan 16, 2011. Israel systematically eradicates Palestinian villages of the face of the earth to repopulate it or plant trees, to make the desert bloom. Every red dot on this map was a “relocated” Palestinian village. Disappeared from the very face of this earth. Already in 2005, former advisor to Peres told the US about relocation of 65.000 bedouin in Palestine Naqab (Negev desert) as well as Jordan Valley. Currently Israel approved the Prawer plan, “relocating” over 57.000 people, the largest ethnic cleansing campaign since the Nakba in which 800.000 people (christians and muslims) were expelled from Palestine. Israel, creating refugees every day. What Israel means by relocation can be seen in below picture and this video

Israel to finish works on wall isolating Jerusalem this year. The wall, already by International Law, courts and organisations declared as illegal, is seperating the West Bank of Palestine and it’s inhabitants of relatives, land, properties and a severe violation of the right of free movement and a collective punishment. While the so called exuse for Israeli barrier would be an “effective mean” in Jerusalem’s security, the army said. It is designed to block all those who Israel calls “illegal” into Jerusalem and 1948-occupied territories. In facts, just to block any Palestinian even restricting Palestinians in their movement inside their own country as the wall deviates around illegal settlements, is replaced when new settlements are build, and slowly is consuming land in the ongoing Israeli landgrab. Recently, Shu’fat Camp was surrounded and closed. Now, Israel created a second Warsaw Getto version 2011, where “inmates” even have to pay tax for their own occupation and emprisonment in an open air camp into which Israel is turning Palestinian villages one by one by surrounding and further upsurping the lands or hunt away the very people left there.

During attacks on Gaza a worker Shaheed Shaheed Amjad al-Za’ anin and aHamas resistance fighter Shaheed Zaher Ahmad Jarghun were killed. Several others were injured on Tuesday afternoon after Israeli tanks opened fire on them near the northern Gaza border with Israel. Israel is attacking and killing in Palestine on daily basis. While so called Qassam rockets seem the justification for relentless and disproportional attacks on the Gaza Strip, the allegedly tens of thousands of “Hamas” rockets killed 21 Israeli people in 10 years. In exchange, ignored by media and uncondemned by Governments: Israel keeps attacking Palestine daily in every way possible by land, sea, air, by snipers, armytroops, tanks, gunboats, drones, remote or direct or in large scale operation massacres like Cast Lead 2008-2009. In which 1500 people we’re killed of which 352 children. In 22 days only. While the world keeps believing the so called security threats of a country which has a rigth to self-defense and totally disregards the imbalance and criminal onslaught of Israel on Palestine in total. A list of all massacres.

Israeli reactor linked to West Bank deaths. Dramatic increases in cancer cases, sterility and abnormal births in south of the West Bank is said to be linked to a uranium leak at the Dimona nuclear power plant. In villages located in the south of the West Bank, cancer cases, sterility and mental disorders have surged, particularly in the Avaria village, which has a population of over 35,000 people. International scientists have investigated the anomaly to find out the reason is behind it. Israel abusing the land of Palestine as a “safe location” for it’s nuclear weapon production in Dimona. Of course denied but already documented and photographed by Vanunu in 1985. Not only the presence of Dimona, but also the policies of “The State of Israel” cause diseases, birth defects and more, Israel is literally using Palestine as a a Murderous Testing Ground for so called ‘Non-Lethal’ Weapons. Israel’s weapons a Crime on Humanity. Israel most feel pretty “untouchable”. Depleted uranium or raditation does not discriminate. It does not recognize Erez border nor the separation barriers. It kills also in Israel itself. A timebomb, in the Middle East, abusing and sickening even it’s own people.

Salem Mohammad Sami Samoudi, 24 Yrs Old killed at a checkpoing near Jenin. One of the 239 victims of occupation of this years direct violence. In this case mentioned widely in media for allegedly Shaheed Samoudi opened fire according to army reports. Truth will seldom be told and the largest genocide, the passive aggression on Palestinians causing excess deaths or avoidable mortality is widely ignored and silenced. Research showed, almost 0,5 million people have died due to avoidable mortality in Palestine and around est. 5000 a year do so too by delibeberate deprivation due to bad ruling and policies of occupation in Palestine. Media too often forgets these cases of the silent genocide, and adopts the zionist tendency, like in the case of Shaheed Samoudi, to highlight an attack of a Palestinian who maybe really was tired of it all and decided to resist knowing, it would be his end. Zionism, hiding facts, ignoring reality and manipulating media by the rare incidents of attacks by Palestinians to justify their ongoing onslaught now for 64 years while the world is wide asleep for the reality and massive passive massacre that is going on.

Jerusalem evictions, demolitions leave lasting trauma. Evictions and house demolitions are a growing humanitarian concern for Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, says the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). The consequences for families can be devastating: in addition to losing their homes, their main source of physical and economic security, families are faced with high legal bills, fines and charges, including the cost of their own eviction, OCHA says. Jerusalem Municipality says it has the right to demolish illegal structures of any kind under local Israeli municipal law to ensure residents live in safe, legal homes.Israel stealing homes of Palestinians, and than, in the course of the year hit the street in massive #J14 social justice protests, ignoring the very same rights of Palestinians. After taking their homes, for free, stull complaining about high rents and lack of social security while denying these rights to Palestinians. The Chutzpah, of Israeli Tent Protests. While many Evicted Palestinians live aside their own house, populated now by illegal settlers, not even left to rest in a tent on their land but attacked as well by police, colonists and even harassed and humiliated, deprived to death. Read, what happened to Father al-Kurd. Who once put up a tent aside his home… he died.

The Palestine Papers: The Ultimate Confirmation of Israeli Intentions The cables released last night by Al Jazeera, which form the Palestine Papers, have provided ultimate confirmation of what many on the ground have known for some time – Israel is not interested in an equitable two state solution. Instead Israel is interested in maintaining the status quo, which necessarily means that both Palestinian and Israeli society will be in a permanent state of war. Control of the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the separation of the West Bank from Gaza is the form of the Israeli-imposed one state solution. Crippling land annexation in the form of settlement expansion and development of Israeli infrastructure permanently change the facts on the ground while the United States, the main broker in the region, remains deftly silent. This continues while Israel informs the world that there is no Palestinian partner for negotiations and refuses to even provide documents detailing the Israeli bottom line. (by Joseph Dana) Israel has no intention to stop the settlement construction at all. Aug 30, 2010, before peacetalks, Netanyahu vowed to make no concessions at all. And before going into “peacetalks” reiterated : “The “Eretz Israel” stretches from the Mediterranian Sea to the River Jordan.” leaving nothing to imagination. Meaning: the greater israel including the West Bank, Gaza (and even more) like Netanyhau said: “Israel is not big enough for jewish state.“
In an op-ed in New York Times, DannyDanon said the same: “Making the Land of Israel Whole” Recently Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin reiterated it by saying: “The land of Israel is ours in its entirety“ And on Oct 16, 2011: Ayalon: “Settlement in Jerusalem not for discussion“. Leaders of Zionism spoke about an Endlösung and creation for a Jewish Lebensraum at cost of Palestine for decades. Israel has not intentions at all to go for a halt of the ethnic cleansing: Netanyahu: ‘We won’t renew settlement freeze to lure PA to talks‘ and plans 1000′s more settlement units as legislators call for Full Annexation of the West Bank.
Occupation is planning to build one million housing units in ten years and even increases the plans as retaliation and a respond to the Palestinians calling on UNESCO vote by ‘punitive’ settlement construction.

Israel admits to Aqsa Mosque excavations for first time. In attempt to help the “prophecy” of the Jewish Temple to be rebuild Israel is excavating the Al Aqsa compounds for many years. In the meanwhile archeologists rebut Jewish claims about the alleged temple and some Israeli acheologists even contest the whole Jewish ties to Jerusalem in the first place. But excavations continue and recently, Israel even decided to demolish the magharabi brigde which was condemned by many Nations and curbed… for now…

Shaheed Udai Maher Qadous Oday Maher Hamza Qadous was shot this afternoon by Israeli radicals, while farming his land in Iraq Burin near Nablus. Qadous was farming with his cousin, Omer Ahmed Qadous, on the west side of Iraq Burin when Israelis from the nearby settlement of Bracha allegedly entered the farmland and shot Oday in the stomach. Qadous was evacuated from the area to a Nablus hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The same day, a 13 year old boy Basel Adwan died due to wounds sustained of exploding by Israeli left behind ordances. This is a quite common policy of Israel, to leave dangerous ammunition or explosives behind in hope, people and especially children with natural curiousity will touch and hurt/kill themselves this way.

Student Uses Twitter to Tweet Phone Calls with Egyptians in Real-time . As Egypt was live tweeting the #Jan25 revolution in Palestine social media is one of the little sources of reliable and live news although the infrastructure of Palestine is also under a digital occupation: Hacking Palestine as well by the continous crackdown, arrests, kidnapping and detention of press. Since Israel has only 1 desire: to prevent by all means that truth gets out of the occupied territories to save the myths and the lies the world for so long believed, it also silences online activists. Israel even declared a genuine web war and is putting many shekels in the online battle. In vain. The truth always prevails. Even when Israeli soldiers hijack tweeps phones to send out lies or tell demonstrators they’re being followed at twitter. (min 2:47 video). All to suppress to prevent you see the truth about Israeli occupation of Palestine. because Truth does not bother “Israel” Buttons Do. To Mute. Israel’s human rights abuses in the name of security Palestinian prisoners are being denied basic rights and subjected to harsh treatment in detention. “Israeli security” is the sacred cow of the Israeli street and ruling establishment. Practically all the manifestations of Israeli racism directed at the state’s Palestinian citizens, as well as those living under occupation in the West Bank and Gaza, fall within this elastic slogan. In the name of this slogan, too, Israeli human rights organisations working to expose the practices of the state and army have recently had restrictions placed upon them. Palestinian Prisoners, still today Dec 31, 2011 almost 6000, of which 161 children detained, exposed to torture and deprived of every need and right. 750.000 Palestinians have been detained since 1967 making it the worlds largest detained nation ever.

Health Ministry in Gaza Warns of Medicine Shortage . According to the most recent statement from the Ministry of health, 170 medicines and 140 other medical items are currently out of stock in the Gaza Strip. This has meant that patients have had to go without essential medicine and medical services lack equipment necessary for their treatment. Deprivation and infringement of medical aid or supplies cause many avoidable deaths. Today Dec 31, 2011, the crisis is even worse than before. Israel fires on fishing boats in continuing campaign infringing Gaza territorial waters. It has been five years since Israel imposed its oppressive and inhuman blockade on the Gaza Strip. Report: Israel revoked residence of 191 Jerusalemites in 2010 Millions of Palestinians have been displaced and made refugees since the onset of Israel’s occupation. The information was gleaned by the research department of the Jerusalem Center for Social and Economic Rights according to official data obtained from the Israeli Ministry of Interior after a request submitted by the former. According to the ministry’s response, only 67 ID cards were returned. It goes on to say that out of 841 petitions for residence filed by West Bank citizens married to women in Jerusalem, only 31 were approved against 364 that have so far been rejected. Al-Tuwani children’s struggle to go to school .Al Tuwani a primative village of about 250 inhabitants, located to the south of Hebron. Israel has refused to run water or electricity to the village, so they catch what rainwater they can in a cistern, and have a generator which provides electricity 4 hours a day. Nearby, an Israeli settlement has tried to run them off: they have beaten the children on their way to school, they have attacked peace keepers who accompanied the children, cracking skulls, breaking arms kneecaps, ribs (resulting in a punctured lung) etc. ( Here is an article detailing the violence inflicted on the children and the Christian Peacemakers Team escorting them. They poisoned their cistern by dropping dead chickens into the water, and poisoned their flocks of sheep with rat poison pellets, killing many sheep, and forcing them to throw away the season’s milk for fear of contamination.

Jonathan Cook: Netanyahu’s illusory peace plan. Carrying on unpunished, uncondemned, “Israel” in their masterplan for the “Greater Israel”, even makes a bussiness of the weapons of massdestruction which it developes, tests on Palestinians funded by the worlds tax payers money. 30 Billion of US dollar aid to Israel while 4,6 Million children in the US lack dental aid, and 46 million Americans are dependant on food aid of their government… US supplies all means to not reach peace (which Israel is not looking after anyway) but to develop even more extensions. Extensions. Not the one Netanyahu during his recent speech at the UNGA meant: “We are extending out or hands for peace”… Does this look that way? Extending the hand only to a drone. Drones which cost millions of lives worldwide. Never driven by any divine law only by greed
