GAZA, (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya urged the exceptional Arab summit being held in the Libyan city of Sirte to take effective and decisive decisions regarding the Palestinian situation.

“We want the summit to make decisions strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and helping them stand in the face of the Zionist arrogance,” premier Haneyya said on Saturday morning during his participation in harvesting olive in Nusseirat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip.

He stressed that Israel’s policy of aggression, Judaization activities, and Gaza blockade entails taking clear and fateful decisions in favor of the Palestinian cause.

In another context, the premier announced during his visit to the refugee camp the launch of a campaign to plant one million olive trees and promised farmers, families of war victims and owners of destroyed homes to find solutions to their suffering as soon as possible.

In Amman, the Islamic action front in Jordan condemned the Israeli assassination of two Palestinian resistance fighters in Al-Khalil city and considered what happened as a message to the Arab summit in Sirte.

“The new crime is an extension of a series of cowardly cunning operations against the steadfast Palestinian people, and its timing is considered a gift from this criminal entity to the conferees at the Arab summit,” senior official of the Jordanian action front Murad Adayleh said in a press statement.
