WEST BANK, (PIC)– Hamas lawmakers in the West Bank strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority’s security militias for summoning teacher Huda Mara’ba to appear before a military court on a charge of harboring two resistance fighters in her home.

In a statement, the lawmakers described this behavior as a crime and moral decline never happened before in the history of Palestine.

They stressed that the courts were made for criminals and traitors not for Palestinian fighters and honorable people who sacrificed their lives and ages for the sake of Palestine.

The lawmakers called for keeping the justice system away from the political dispute in the Palestinian arena and stopping to use it as a tool to fabricate charges against fighters and national figures.

Mara’ba is the wife of martyr Abdelnasser Al-Basha who was assassinated along with two resistance fighters Mohamed Al-Samman and Mohamed Yassin by the PA security militias after a raid on his home in Qalqiliya city.

Her left hand was amputated after she sustained serious injuries as a result of the PA security militias’ deadly attack on the house. She was also severely beaten despite her injuries by one of the militia men after they broke into the house and later she was placed under house arrest for a long time in her family’s home in the village of Ras Atiya.

In a separate incident, the PA security militias kidnapped two Palestinian citizens affiliated with Hamas Movement in the cities of Ramallah and Al-Khalil, according to local sources on Wednesday.
