GAZA, (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya stated that the ministers of his government are all ready to give up their seats for the sake of the Palestinian cause, the return of refugees, the holy city and the liberation of Palestine.

Haneyya made his remarks on Tuesday in a conference held by the ministry of religious affairs on the efforts made by Sheikh Yousuf Al-Qardawi, the head of the international association of Muslim scholars, to serve Islam and the Palestinian cause.

“We vow to God that we will never give in our land, make concessions, recognize the occupation, or surrender Jerusalem or the Aqsa Mosque while the harbingers of victory are looming on the horizon,” the premier highlighted.

“We do not recognize or acknowledge what they call the Jewish state or the Jewish nationality; these decisions are invalid and if they implement them for a period of time, the coming generations will terminate them,” he added.

The premier pointed out that the Palestinian Authority’s declared rejection of the idea of the Jewish state is not enough because it is demanded to end its security cooperation and peace talks with the Israeli occupation, and adopt the option of resistance and steadfastness.

The premier also hailed the role of Sheikh Qardawi in serving and reactivating the Islamic aspect of the Palestinian cause.

For his part, Sheikh Qardawi called in a recorded speech at the conference on the Arab and Muslim nations to rise en masse to defend the Palestinian cause and stressed the need not to surrender to the Israeli occupation and the alleged peace process.

“The [Muslim] nation is entitled to work for the liberation of all Islamic lands controlled or raided by non-Muslims, especially the land of Isra and Miraj, the Aqsa Mosque, Gaza, Al-Khalil and every inch of its soil,” the head of Muslim scholars stated.

He described the Israeli occupation as the most evil in human history, noting that this occupation displaced Palestinians from their homes, shed their blood, humiliated them, and demolished their homes, mosques and farms.
