AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled on Saturday a peaceful anti separation wall march staged by locals and foreign activists in the village of Beit Ummar, Al-Khalil district.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF soldiers stationed in Dhaher area adjacent to the settlement of Karmi Tzur fired smoke and sonic bombs before using rubber and live bullets at the marchers.

They added that tens of citizens and foreigners were treated for breathing problems, adding that the soldiers blocked the march from reaching Palestinian land threatened with confiscation.

The witnesses noted that the soldiers chased marchers away from the area and even into their own homes.
