GAZA, (PIC)– The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine, said that a group of its cadres survived shelling by Israeli occupation forces in central Gaza Strip at dawn Tuesday. The armed wing said in a communiqué that the group confronted an IOF unit that tried to sneak into eastern Magazi refugee camp and fired two mortar shells at it. The brigades added that the IOF troops retaliated by firing a land-to-land missile at the group but none was hurt in the explosion. It said that the mortar attack was in defense of Palestinian land and to confront any attempt to target the Palestinian people. |
