ALGIERS, (PIC)– Former British MP George Galloway revealed that new humanitarian aid convoys would be sent to the Gaza Strip next year to break the Israeli siege on it for the past four and a half years.

Galloway told a press conference held in the premises of Algerian daily Al-Shaab on Monday that a plane would carry one of those aid consignments and would land in Gaza.

He urged the Arabs, especially governments, to support such solidarity activity, expressing regret for the Arabs’ “negative position and weak commitment”.

The former MP said that he would soon visit the USA to defend the Palestine cause, adding that he had already participated in 12 seminars on the same issue in Canada
