PA militias kidnap 12 Palestinians in W. Bank areas

WEST BANK, (PIC)– The latest arrest campaigns waged by security militias from the Palestinian authority (PA) in Nablus, Qalqiliya, Al-Khalil, Tulkarem and Jerusalem led to the kidnapping of 12 Palestinian citizens affiliated with Hamas Movement, according to local sources on Thursday.

The sources said PA militias in Nablus kidnapped ex-detainee Anas Sawndek from his home as well as his brother-in-law Assem Al-Hanbali, and raided the home of his father Khader Sawndek in the village of Jit. His brother Abdulltif has been in PA jails for three weeks.

Another ex-detainee called Mohamed Janajera was kidnapped after a violent raid on his home in Taluza village in Nablus.

In Jerusalem, the militias kidnapped two university students, Ala’a Ghanem and his brother Baha’a after storming their apartment.

Mus’ab, the son of imprisoned Hamas leader Adnan Al-Hasri, was kidnapped by PA militias from his workplace in Tulkarem city. Three ex-detainees in Israeli jails were also detained by the militias in the city.

Raids on homes in the cities of Qalqiliya and Al-Khalil resulted in the kidnapping of three other Palestinian citizens because of their political affiliation with Hamas.
