GAZA, (PIC)– Palestinian minister of culture Osama Al-Issawi called on the international organizations operating in Palestine, especially the UNRWA, to necessarily take into account the real suffering and pains which the Palestinian people have been afflicted with because of the Israeli occupation.

In a press release on Saturday, Issawi strongly denounced the UNRWA for organizing trips for Palestinian students to New York, Europe, and South Africa to visit Jewish holocaust museums in order to arouse their sympathy for the Jewish people.

He stressed that such visits and trips are a travesty of reality, an attempt to brainwash the Palestinian students and part of the intellectual and cultural invasion that targets the Palestinian society and its authentic national culture.

The minister emphasized the need for focusing and highlighting the forced migration of the Palestinian refugees, their right to return to their homes they were expelled from, and the Israeli terrorism which the Palestinian people are being exposed to.

The minister expressed hope that the international organizations would raise the awareness of students about their Palestinian issues and the suffering of their own people instead of brainwashing them.
