GAZA, (PIC)– The international campaign to release detained Palestinian lawmakers in Israeli occupation jails has called on all free parliamentarians of the world to support their Palestinian colleagues and to trek all means to block the serious Israeli schemes aimed at deporting Jerusalemite MPs.

MP Mushir Al-Masri, the head of the campaign, said that the world parliaments should practically act to stop the Israeli violations against the Palestinian deputies, warning that deportation of the Jerusalemite MPs was the beginning of a large-scale eviction of the indigenous population of the holy city.

He said that the banishment of those MPs directly infringed on all world parliamentarians other than being a flagrant violation of their parliamentary immunity.

Masri’s words came in a message to the Jordan branch of the international forum for Islamic parliamentarians that held a meeting recently in Amman and condemned the deportation of Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Tir from Jerusalem to the West Bank.

The conferees said that the issue would be their topmost priority and would concentrate their efforts on means of supporting the Jerusalemite MPs.
