RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Security militias loyal to the Ramallah authority of Mahmoud Abbas rounded up 11 Hamas supporters in the districts of Nablus, Tulkarem, Jenin, and Bethlehem on Monday.

Local sources noted that most of the captured were either students or former prisoners in Israeli occupation jails.

A PA military court in Nablus sentenced two detainees to five months in jail. Both were formerly held in Israeli jails.

Relatives of detainee Abdulrahman Eshtiye said that he had started a hunger strike a week ago and was only taking liquids in protest over his bad incarceration condition. Eshtiye has been held in PA jails for three months and a half and was deprived of concluding his university studies.

The preventive security forces on Sunday night stormed a village northwest of Al-Khalil and kidnapped a citizen, eyewitnesses reported.
