WEST BANK, (PIC)– The mother of Muhanad Nayrukh, detained in the PA jails in the West Bank, said on Saturday that her son had entered the stage of clinical death after he was rushed to hospital.

She told the PIC on Saturday evening that Abbas’s security refused to allow any visit to Nayrukh in hospital but a paramedic told his relatives that he was in a state of clinical death after 39 days of hunger strike in Abbas’s jails.

She said that the PA was refusing any visit to him fearing his condition would be declared to the public, the mother, who could not stop her tears, held Abbas’s authority responsible for her son’s condition.

The security militias loyal to de facto Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas transferred Nayrukh along with Majd Obeid and Wisam Al-Qawasmi to hospital on Friday after their health deteriorated due to the continued hunger strike staged in protest at those militias’ refusal to release them despite court orders to that effect.

Obeid’s mother, for her part, had earlier told the PIC that she was not allowed to visit her son in Bethlehem, but added she could speak with him via a remote window.

She quoted her son as saying that they stopped drinking milk on Thursday after those militias backtracked on their promise to transfer them to Al-Khalil in preparation for releasing them.
