OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a Jordanian national a coupe of days ago while on his way back to his country, Jordanian press sources said in Amman on Saturday.

They said that the IOF soldiers at King Hussein bridge between Jordan and the occupied West Bank on Thursday detained Amjad Sidir, 46, and questioned him before deciding to take him into custody.

Relatives of Sidir, a merchant, said that he visited occupied Jerusalem after obtaining a visa from the Israeli embassy in Amman and abided by the visit instructions during his 15-day stay, which made news of his arrest “surprising”.

They said that Sidir does not hold any other documents except his own personal ones.

The Israeli authorities would not comment on the news.
