NABLUS (Ma’an) — Dozens of armed settlers on Sunday surrounded a Palestinian home in Burin south of Nablus, a Palestinian Authority official said.

Ghassan Doughlas, a settlement affairs officer who monitors the northern West Bank, said settlers attempted to enter the home of Um Ayman Suwan, but were stopped by dozens of residents.

Palestinians contacted the Israeli coordination office to intervene, after which the settlers left, Doughlas said.

The village suffers frequent violent attacks by residents of illegal outposts and the Bracha and Yitzhar settlements
