OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) revealed it detained five Jerusalemite citizens last November on allegations of their intention to carry out a rocket attack on Teddy stadium in the west of occupied Jerusalem.

The Hebrew radio reported that the IOA filed on Sunday indictments with the Israeli central court against two of these detainees on claims of their possession of weapons and plotting to commit a crime, while the three others were charged with giving logistic assistance to the first two.

It claimed that the first two detainees are affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements, and the three others are employees at the British consulate in Jerusalem.

In a separate incident, Al-Maqdesi foundation for society development reported that the demolition of Palestinian homes in the occupied city of Jerusalem witnessed a noticeable increase last year, despite international and local attempts to pressure Israel stop these violations.

The foundation said on Monday that Israel carried out last year 54 demolitions of homes and structures leading to the displacement of 130 Palestinians, including 67 children and 28 women.
