GAZA, (PIC)– Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids on a number of targets in the Gaza Strip at a late night hour on Tuesday inflicting material damage, local sources reported.

The Israeli F-16s flew at low altitudes over the Strip and fired a number of missiles at the marine police position west of Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, completely destroying the facility. The position was bombed during the war on Gaza two years ago.

The warplanes earlier shelled a national security outpost south of Gaza city and a training site for the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, in Khan Younis, south of the Strip.

Adham Abu Salmiya, the spokesman for medical services, told the PIC that no casualties were reported as a result of the series of air strikes.

Palestinian security sources had warned of the intensive flights of all kinds of Israeli warplanes over Gaza districts on Tuesday.
