Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) Israeli police have summoned the nephew of Wadi Hilweh Information Center director Jawad Siyam for investigation, marking an escalation in authorities’ pressure on Siyam for his political activism. Yazan Siyam, 16, was summoned to the Israeli police station after Jawad Siyam was told by officers during his investigation that his family was “bad and nonco-operative”. Yazan was arrested in April 2010 during one of the Israeli police raids on the Information Center and adjoining Madaa Community Center, when he was accused of “attacking a settler”
