OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) removed scaffolding in eastern Jerusalem that was limiting access to a small part of Al-Buraq (wailing) wall located inside the Islamic neighborhood of the Old City, Hebrew press reported on Friday.

Al-Aqsa foundation slammed the IOA for removing the scaffolding, saying that it is part of Israel’s plans to Judaize Al-Buraq wall square under the name of making repairs and renovations.

The foundation said all this is aimed to increase the number of Jewish visitors to Ribat Al-Kurd spot to the left of the holy Mosque’s Al-Hadeed gate and turning it into another zone for “wailing rituals”.

It warned of the escalating Israeli actions against the Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity, stressing that Ribat Al-Kurd is a pure Islamic area and the Jews have no right to it.

In a related development, the Israeli municipal council launched a large-scale campaign to incite the Jews to strengthen their connection with Jerusalem and intensify their activities and events in it.

The campaign would also urge the Israeli government to stimulate economic growth in the holy city.
