GAZA, (PIC)– Fawzi Barhoum, a Hamas spokesman, has said that the incessant Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip indicated that it did not give up the idea of war. Barhoum told the PIC on Tuesday night that the Palestinian factions had sent clear messages to the world community asking it to bridle Israel and that they were ready to respect calm as long as Israel was committed to it. He added, “We affirm that the aggression is one-sided and we are paying the price for the absence of international justice along with the price of western and international silence and the absence of any decision to deter the Israeli aggression. A Palestinian youth was killed and two teens were injured in Israeli artillery shelling in northern Gaza on Tuesday. |
