Three Children Injured in Gaza, Overnight clashes in East Jerusalem

Gaza/Jerusalem – PNN – Three children were injured on Tuesday morning as unknown object exploded near them  at the southern Gaza strip city of Khan Younis.



Local sources reported that the explosion took place near a local school, the nature or the reason of the explosion is still unknown.  Medical sources in Khan Younis said that the three children were taken to Nasser hospital in the city; doctors say all three sustained light wounds.

On Monday night clashes erupted between Palestinian youth and Israeli soldiers in Silwan neighborhood in east Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the clashes took place near the protest tent residents’ setup in Silwan. The clashes started when a group of Israeli soldiers stormed Silwan, local youth hurled stones at them leading to clashes.

Witnesses added that soldiers raided homes and searched them during the raid. No injuries or arrests were reported.  Residents of Silwan setup a tent in protest of the demolishing of their homes by the Israeli state.
