Infighting backfire leaves Israel left off key Medvedev visit agenda

Russia reiterates its commitment to back a Palestinian state with the capital in East Jerusalem. That’s according to President Dmitry Medvedev, who’s been meeting with Mahmoud Abbas. The initial plan for President Medvedev’s Middle East tour was to hold talks with Israel as well, but this was spoiled when its officials went on strike, leading to the visit’s cancellation. Some say it is more than coincidence, as RT’s Paula Slier reports.
