BEIRUT, (PIC)– Hamas representative in Lebanon Ali Baraka conferred with director of UNRWA affairs in Lebanon Salvatore Lombardo at UNRWA headquarters in Beirut on Wednesday on means of improving living conditions of Palestinian refugees in the country.

The meeting also attended by three Hamas political officials in Lebanon and deputy director of UNRWA Roger Davies and its media spokesman Huda Al-Samra tackled the conditions of Palestinian refugees topped by the rebuilding of the Bared refugee camp and obstacles impeding its acceleration along with health and education issues.

Baraka asked UNRWA to expedite the reconstruction of the ruined camp and returning its inhabitants to it, calling for improving health and education services.

For his part, Lombardo said that reconstruction funds did not cover the entire reconstruction costs of the camp, adding that a number of blocs would be completed by end of March and others by the end of the current year.
