OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces used rubber bullets and teargas to disperse protestors in Shufat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday evening. Local sources said that 13 citizens were injured and/or suffered breathing difficulty as a result of the violent Israeli supression including four pregnant women. Large numbers of IOF troops were deployed at the entrance to the camp and in central areas while firing rubber bullets and teargas canisters at demonstrators and homes. The Israeli forces earlier on Wednesday chased school students who threw stones at them following provocations on the part of the military at the roadblock near the camp to the north of occupied Jerusalem. |
