OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, the head of the higher Islamic authority and Aqsa preacher, has renewed his edict banning exchange of land in any settlement with Israel.

Sabri in a statement to the PIC on Monday thanked Al-Jazeera for publishing the secret documents because the publication would deter more concessions and mistakes that occurred during the negotiating process.

He underlined that the holy Aqsa Mosque was not for negotiations, refusing the idea of forming a committee on the Aqsa in which non Arab and non Islamic countries and Israel were present in its formation.

The Sheikh said that the Jewish settlements in occupied Jerusalem were not legitimate and would not be recognized, adding that recognizing those settlements would mean ceding parts of the holy city.
