MP Abdelrazek to stand trial

GAZA, (PIC)– The Israeli Jalama military court is to open a hearing on Wednesday in the case of Hamas MP Dr. Omar Abdelrazek after two weeks of cruel interrogation rounds.

The international campaign for the release of kidnapped Palestinian lawmakers said in a statement on Tuesday that the trial of those MPs was null and void.

It explained that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) was violating the international law with such kidnapping and trial of deputies without charge.

The natural place for those representatives of the people is under the parliament’s dome and not in IOA dungeons, the campaign elaborated.

It called for the immediate release of all remaining 11 MPs in IOA jails, affirming that the IOA goal in dissuading those MPs from sticking to Palestinian rights would eventually fail.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces rounded up ten Palestinians in various West Bank areas at dawn Tuesday.

Local sources said that the arrests were made in the districts of Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, Tulkarem, and Al-Khalil.
