RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The medical clinic in the Israeli Hasharon jail has refused to offer treatment for Palestinian prisoner Qahera Al-Saadi, the lawyer of the international Tadamoun institution for human rights, Ahmed Al-Beitawi, said.

He said in a press release on Wednesday that the condition of Saadi, who has been in prison for 9 years serving a three-life-sentence in addition to 30 years, is worsening.

He said that the Israeli prison administration refuses to allow a specialized doctor form outside the jail to treat Saadi even at her own expense.

He said that Saadi had asked the administration to allow a dental surgeon into the jail to extract all of her teeth and have dental implants in their place, but the administration turned down the request.

The administration had previously allowed Dr. Ali Abu Teir into prison to treat Saadi but it later refused to allow him to complete the treatment of his patient, Beitawi underlined.

Other female detainees Reema Daraghme, Irene Sarahne, and Sana’a Shehade all suffer dental problem and could not eat properly as a result, which led to noticeable loss of weight.
