Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) — The Jerusalem Magistrates Court yesterday extended the detention of three Palestinian youths from Silwan arrested on 7 February. Ahmed al-Ghoul (25), Islam Aoudeh (18) and Mansour Shioukhi (20) were arrested on suspicion of involvement in recent clashes in Silwan. The detention of 26 year old Abdul Rahim Khalil Abbasi, arrested on 14 May 2010, was also extended until 1 March.

Ibrahim Abu Diab, arrested on 24 January with his friend Mahmoud Razim inside a shop in Silwan during clashes, will appeal the District Court’s decision to extend their detention, 17 February.

24 year old Imad Khalil Abbasi was arrested by Israeli police yesterday inside the Magistrates Court while attending a relative’s trial.
