Jerusalemite sick detainee appeals for medical treatment

RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Jerusalemite prisoner Esam Jandal has complained of heart and eye problems and was still suffering despite undergoing three eye surgeries, the Palestinian prisoner’s association said in a report on Wednesday.

It said that the prisoner, held in the Israeli Jalbo prison, was suffering from rapid heart beat and breathing problems and was taking 13 pills daily but his health condition was still deteriorating.

Jandal, who was imprisoned in 1975 for five years then in 1986 was sentenced to life in jail, appealed for urgent treatment in view of his worsening condition.
