GAZA, (PIC)– A Palestinian resistance fighter affiliated with the armed wing of Islamic Jihad was proclaimed dead on Wednesday evening after he sustained serious injuries from an Israeli military attack on east of Gaza city.
Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, Al-Quds Brigades, vowed in a communiqué yesterday to avenge the death of its fighter.
Spokesman for the ambulance and emergency service Adham Abu Salmiya told the Palestinian information center (PIC) that the fighter, Adel Jandiya, was seriously wounded when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed a group of citizens east of Gaza city.
Spokesman Abu Salmiya also told the PIC that two other citizens sustained moderate injuries following the death of Jandiya during another attack.
About 11 Palestinian citizens were also wounded, two of them in serious condition, east of Gaza city on the same day at noon during an Israeli artillery attack.
In a separate incident, a little Palestinian girl died and two other sustained moderate injuries after an unknown explosion happened in Khan Younis city, south Gaza.
