Palestinian Prisoners Club director Nasser Qaws arrested in morning raid

Israeli police stormed the house of the Palestinian Prisoners Club director Nasser Qaws in Jerusalem’s Old City this morning, placing him under arrest. Qaws was assaulted by Israeli forces during clashes in Al-Wad Street of the Old City on 18 February, during which Israeli settlers rioted, attacking Palestinian citizens and trashing several Palestinian shops and stalls. Qaws himself was wounded, sustaining bruising to his chest.
