A group of armed Israeli settlers blocked on Monday morning a number of roads leading to the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and hurled stones at several vehicles while cursing and insulting the residents.

Local sources reported that the settlers gathered on junctions leading to Yitzhar, Bracha and Itamar illegal settlements near Huwwara village, and a number of
settlements located between Nablus and Qalqilia.

Settlers who gathered on junctions south and east of Nablus hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles leading to damages.

The settlers were “protesting” the evacuation of Ramat Gilad settlement that was illegally installed in 2002 on Palestinian lands that belong to residents of the villages of Tal, Surra and Jeet.
