A twenty-two year old man was injured by Israeli shelling in the southern part of Gaza in Khan Younis, in the midst of an Israeli incursion in the area.

The man was injured around the ‘Kisufim’ crossing this morning and was moved to a hospital. Medical sources report that he sustained moderate wounds.

Many Israeli planes targeted the Khaza’a gate with three shells while Palestinians were confronting the Israeli army.

Israel has recently conducted similar air strikes targeting other locations in the strip. The last one was last Sunday evening when a Palestinian man was killed and many others were injured by army shells in Eastern Gaza.
