Israeli Soldiers Raid Bethlehem District, Arrest Five Among few Children

Bethlehem – PNN – Israeli forces raided Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank on Thursday and arrested five Palestinians from the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.

Secure local sources said that the arrested Palestinians were Abdulmajid Hamamreh, 18, Karem Za’oul, 17. Hamza Mustafa, 17, Mustafa Hamamreh, 18, and Ahmed Sabateen, 19. Other home invasions took place throughout the village with no arrests.

An Israeli military raid was reported in the village of Bathan, north of Nablus in the northern West Bank, with home invasions and searches. Israeli troops took the information of one homeowner and inspected identifications, but did not make any arrests.

Muhammad Salahat, the Bathan village council head, said that last night’s invasions were the third in the past month and nobody knew the reason for them. He said that homes were searched in the middle of the night, causing panic among the people, especially children.
