GAZA, (PIC)– Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan said the Palestinian factions met on Wednesday and discussed the initiative made earlier by his Movement and its main ideas, most importantly, the establishment of transitional national leadership.

In a press release, Radwan added that one of this leadership’s priorities is to rebuild and reform the Palestinian liberation organization (PLO) in order for it to be a house for all factions.

He also noted that among the ideas which were tabled during the meeting were the formation of a national unity government and the creation of a political program that protects the Palestinian constants and the resistance option.

The Palestinian factions during this meeting also agreed on organizing next Friday a march calling for ending division and restoring unity.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said the Palestinian flag would be the only banner  waved and raised during this march.

Spokesman Barhoum stressed that the march is an initial step to be followed by a series of events aimed at promoting the national unity.
