OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) declared it would impose after midnight Friday a cordon on the West Bank and Gaza border areas lasting for three full days on the occasion of an alleged Jewish holiday called Purim.

The Israeli media said these security measures were taken according to orders issued by war minister Ehud Barak and recommendations made by the competent security authorities.

Even the Palestinians who hold permits will be banned from entering the 1948 occupied lands, according to Barak’s orders.
