OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Israeli police declared a state of alert in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday after receiving warnings of a possible attack in the city.

The Hebrew radio said in an urgent news broadcast that police and medical crews were on the alert after detecting a man suspected of planning an attack against an occupation target.

The radio quoted Israeli websites as saying that eyewitnesses saw the man leave a “suspicious device” in a car near Bab Al-Khalil then fled the scene.

Big numbers of police forces along with sappers rushed to the area and started combing it, the broadcast underlined.
