NABLUS, (PIC)– 16 Palestinians, all of them from Gaza, were killed last March either during artillery or aerial attacks on different areas of the densely-populates Strip, according to a report published today by the Palestinian information center (PIC).
The Israeli occupation forces also kidnapped during the reporting month more than 380 Palestinians, including 50 children.
They also kidnapped dozens of Palestinian workmen in different Palestinian areas from the 1948 occupied lands at the pretext of unlicensed entry. An unidentified Palestinian girl was also taken prisoner at a military checkpoint near Bethlehem.
Many of the Palestinians were detained during raids on the West Bank city of Nablus and its nearby villages such as Awarta village, which was stormed by Israeli troops several times.
Among the detainees last months were two Hamas lawmakers from the cities of Jenin and Al-Khalil.
