Israeli tanks kill Palestinian man in Gaza

Al Qassam website– Gaza- A Palestinian citizen killed by Israeli occupation forces’ tanks near the Gaza border north of Beit Lahya town, Tuesday April 5, 2011.

Israeli occupation forces’ tanks opened fire at a civilian Palestinian man north of the Gaza Strip near the Erez crossing, one shell at least hit the victim directly and caused of his immediate death.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that the Palestinian victim was evacuated by medical crews to Kamal Udwan hospital at north of Gaza city in Beit Lahya town.

The body parts  of the victim were totally  separated and damaged due to the massive shelling, medical sources said.

The Palestinian victim was identified as Mohammed Ziyad Khalifa Shalha ,21, from the north town of Beit Lahya.

Tension is increasing between Israeli occupation forces and resistance factions  in Gaza especially after the Israeli targeting caused of the killing of the three Qassam commanders, Ismail Lubad , 33, and his brother Abdullah Lubad, and Mohammed Ad-Dayah who were assassinated by Israeli military drones at south of Gaza Strip in Khan Younis city  4 days ago.

Palestinian resistance factions held on Sunday 3rd of April a joint press conference in the Al Katiba square in Gaza city holding  the Israeli occupation forces the full responsibility for killing three Qassam commanders, insisting that the Palestinian resistance factions would be studying a suitable response on the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
