Beit Omer: Israeli Soldiers Stop Farmers From Reaching Their Lands

Hebron – PNN – On Friday Israeli troops stopped a group of farmers from reaching their land; they came from the village of Beit Omer near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

A group of farmers along with international supporters were planning to plant olive tree one land owned by local farmers from Beit Omer near the Israeli settlement of Beit Ein.

Israeli soldiers arrived on locations and detained the group and did not allow them to reach the land to plant the olive trees. Soldiers also threatened to arrest the Palestinians if they did not leave the area.

Witnesses on location told PNN that the group still insists on reaching the land and refuses to leave.
