European network appeals to Moussa and Ihsanoglu to save prisoners

OSLO, (PIC)– The European network to defend rights of Palestinian prisoners demanded the secretary-generals of the Arab League and the organization of the Islamic conference to make international pressures ending the suffering of Palestinian prisoners confined in solitary cells.

This came in two letters sent by the Oslo-based network to Amr Moussa and Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

The network called on the Arab League to file a complaint with the UN security council about Israel’s violations against Palestinian prisoners in its jails, especially with regard to torture and solitary confinement.

The network hoped that the heads of the Arab League and the Islamic conference would work at all levels on alleviating the suffering of Palestinian prisoners.
