OSLO, (PIC)– The European network for the defense of Palestinian prisoners’ rights (UFree) condemned in a statement the Israeli military court ruling extending the solitary confinement of Palestinian prisoner Obada Said Bilal for six months.

UFree urged the Israeli court to end the suffering of Bilal, who is blind.

It said in a statement on Tuesday evening that the policy of isolating prisoners is a blatant violation of the international law, moral ethics, and human values.

The network called on the international organizations to intervene to get Bilal out of his isolation cell in view of his health condition.

It also asked the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Conference to act to save Palestinian prisoners from persecution especially isolation.
