RAFAH, (PIC)– The Palestinian government headed by premier Ismail Haneyya demanded the ruling military council and the government in Egypt to improve the conditions and mechanisms of travel through the Rafah border crossing.

In a press release on Wednesday, the government hailed the Egyptian positions in support of the Palestinian cause and Gaza people, and affirmed its optimism about the renewed Egyptian role in ending the rift in the Palestinian arena.

The government, meanwhile, lauded the popular and factional marches and sit-ins that were held on the anniversary of the Palestinian prisoner day, and reiterated its support for the resistance’s demands regarding the prisoner swap deal.
