Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —  Israeli undercover forces arrested a 14 year old child from a Silwan street on 4 May. Witnesses state that Mohammed Samreen was walking home while he was attacked by Israeli forces on a junction in Wadi Rababa district. Samreen was then subjected to investigation at Salah Al-Din Street police station and was detained until yesterday morning to appear before court under accusation of participating in clashes in Silwan.

Violent confrontations also took place in several neighborhoods of Silwan yesterday, particularly in the Ras al-Ain and Bir Ayyub districts. Israeli troops fired vast quantities of tear gas and sound grenades, to which masked Palestinian youth responded by throwing a Molotov cocktail at a military vehicle. No injuries were reported.
