AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the village of Tarqumiya west of Al-Khalil city at midnight Sunday and detained a minor, local sources reported.

The sources said that the IOF soldiers stormed the villages of Halhul and Dura in addition to the Fawar refugee camp and the Old City in Al-Khalil and delivered summonses to a number of citizens.

Meanwhile, the IOF soldiers arrested a Christian young man from the Bethlehem village of Beit Sahur after summoning him for interrogation at the intelligence office in Etzion settlement, locals said.

They added that the soldiers then stormed the village and took away the wife of Asy Qassis and his mother Rose, who is in her sixties, without giving reasons for the detention.

IOF soldiers had stepped up arbitrary measures in all West Bank areas on the eve of the Israelis’ celebration of their so-called “Independence”. The soldiers were seen deployed in various areas at roadblocks and major intersections.
