Free Palestine protesters are to meet on Saturday 14 May to urge the UK government to take actions to stop Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine.

Demonstrators asking for an “End to Siege on Gaza” and a “free Palestine” will gather outside Downing Street, London at noon on 14 May.

The protest has been organized by Palestine Solidarity Campaign, British Muslim Initiative, Stop the War, CND and supported by War on Want, UNITE, PCS and UNISON.

The supporters of the War on Want will meet at 11.45am outside the Red Lion pub on Whitehall, and then join the protesters at 12:00 outside Downing Street.

The protesters will urge the British government to change their policies towards Israel a second time and put an end to Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine. The protesters also believe the British government must end its current economic, diplomatic and military support for Israel.

Prof Karma Nabulsi, Dave Randall, Andy Slaughter MP, Caroline Lucas MP, Baroness Jenny Tonge, Reem Kelani and Jody McIntyre will reportedly speak at the demonstration.
